Pendant Standards                                                                            
  1. Have approved design (no copy righted images)
  2. Have 10 alternate designs
  3. Pendant surface must be smooth and uniform or have an intentional textural pattern
  4. Pendant must have a high mirror Polish
  5. Inside edges must be filed smooth and accurately
  6. Outside edge must be filed round, or smooth and accurately if outside edge is not circular
  7. Pendant must have a soldered jump ring
  8. Pendant must have a cabochon stone set in a bezel
  9. Pendant and bezel should not be melted
  10. All solder joints need to be complete and cleaned up (excess solder removed)
  11. Bezel must be smooth and even
  12. Stone needs to be set tightly and securely 
Pendant Process
  1. Draw 10 designs around the stone
  2. Get a design approved
  3. Get your metal
  4. Roll out bezel wire to correct gauge
  5. Anneal bezel and pull straight
  6. Form Bezel around Bezel Mandrel
  7. Cut Bezel to size and solder it shut with medium solder
  8. Solder the bezel to the pendant base plate
  9. Glue design on metal and trace with a pointy needle file
  10. Solder the bezel to the pendant base plate
  11. Set stone
  12. Center punch coin where drilling is required
  13. Drill holes
  14. Cut our design using Jeweler's Saw
  15. File inside edges of the cutout
  16. File outside edges of medallion
  17. Sand medallion till the surface is smooth and uniform (DO NOT SAND YOUR STONE)
  18. Polish medallion with Tripoli and Red Rouge buffers
  19. Solder jump ring on medallion
  20. Put medallion in zip lock bag with 9 remaining designs
  21. Give to Mr. Steadman
